My name is Tiffany Fugère. I have been researching my genealogy since the mid 1990s. My grandfather always used to say that all Fugères were related. I idolized the man, but boy was he wrong!
I'm available for hire as a genealogy researcher. I hold no certifications, just 15+ years of experience. Fees are negotiable. I can provide references. My area of expertise is in Québec, but I'm well versed on researching in the US and UK, and am always willing to try in other areas. All information is sourced to the best of my ability; I won't hand you anything that I wouldn't stand behind.
My Fugères are from Île-d'Orléans QC, Champlain county QC, and Escanaba, MI, though I was born and raised in CA. I definitely have Euro-mutt/Heinz-57 ancestry, but identify heavily with my French-Canadian side. I'm also English, Irish, Scottish, German, Dutch, Belgian, and Spanish.
I seem to have a bit of a wandering gene, though I'm not sure which side of the family that came from. I've been to USSR (Moscow and what is now Ukraine), France (several times), Italy, Spain, Austria, England, Germany, Japan, and Korea. I've lived in CO, CA, WA, DC, GA, OK, TX, PA, and now OR. I quite enjoy traveling, and I hope to make a trip to Québec soon.
When I'm not at work, or working on genealogy, I enjoy reading, music, TV/movies, photography, and most things geek. Stop by my Facebook page (Contact page), you'll see what I mean!
